The stars above

1.) The atmosphere tonight was electric as Klyde walked home from another night with his friends drinking and smoking the best BC bud in town.
Only a few block away, Klyde decided to stop and smoke a final joint for the night. He found a good spot to sit down on a ledge in front of someones garden, and pulled out the doob. It was the biggest one he rolled today knowing that he was going to save it for right before he got home.

Pulling out his lighter, he flicked the flint and a flame popped out the top. Touching the flame to the end of the doob, the cherry lit up and grew bigger as Klyde toked on it getting a fat hit. He could feel the smoke pour down into his lungs. What a great feeling.

Looking up at the stars and blowing out the smoke, a cloud formed above Klyde's head. It just lingered there for a second before evaporating into the night.

Klyde was still staring into the sky and hitting the doob when a flash of light streaked across the night and disappeared into he distance. Klyde jumped to his feet and gasped.

Was that a meteorite?

That had to be a falling star. He had seen lots of them scents moving to this home a year ago. The night sky was easier to see into out here in the country rather then in Vancouver city.

A whirling noise above caught Klyde's attention as he scanned the sky for what ever it was making the noise. Nothing was there.

That's when a purple flash of light blinded Klyde and he dropped the doob.
Without being able to see, he sat back down on the ledge and his heart started pounding hard. He really couldn't see anything except purple now.
The whirling noise got louder and louder until it almost hurt Klyde's ears to be there.
Something started to pick him up without touching him, and Klyde's mind searched his brain for answers to what could be going on.

"HELP ME!!" he called out swinging his arms to get whatever was touching him off, but nothing was there.

What the fuck was going on!?!

A sharp pain overcame Klyde's whole body and he passed out, the purple becoming black.

2.) Opening his eyes, Klyde could see that he was inside of a big glass box. At least what looked like glass.
He reached out to touch the wall and was zapped with electricity.

Not doing that again.

Looking around, there was nothing but lots of glass box's inside of a huge room. Each box had something in it.
The walls and roof of the box looked like glass but were obviously some kind of electric cage.

The situation really sunk in when Klyde realized that the other box's were all filled with other people too. All of them looking at Klyde with such fearful eyes.
Klyde couldn't understand, but maybe he wasn't suppose to.

A little door far up on the room's ceiling opened up letting purple light spill down onto the floor.
An arm sped down threw the opening and stopped right next to Klyde's box. A needle was on the end of the arm and it pierced right threw the box and hit Klyde in the arm. The pain was intense as what ever the hell this thing was was pumping a dark green liquid into him.

The needle finished and plucked its was out of Klyde's arm and back up into the ceiling before closing the door.
Everything was dark again.
Klyde's mind started to race threw images of his life with his friends having a good time, his family, and even his girlfriend who he would probably never see again.
He laid down on the box floor and closed his eyes still stoned out of his mind.
Whatever was going on, it didn't matter. He was fucked and there was nothing he could do about it. At least Klyde could except it quickly.
