Ever since I was old enough to hold a pen, I knew I wanted to write. I've got to a point in my life where I have the time to commit to that passion and see if I can turn it into something real.
I'm reasonably settled in the Midlands after a lifetime of moving around. I live with my partner and our three cats, and (in spite of the number of miserable poems I've written) I'm really very happy.
I have a weakness for sad poems, dystopian future stories and Leonard Cohen lyrics. I love Tarantino films, and my role model in life is R.P. McMurphy. Among my many literary heroes are George Orwell, Neil Gaiman, Oscar Wilde and the Liverpool Poets.
Most of my writing is done at times when I really ought to be asleep. It probably shows.
