Born in Pakistan and then moved to UAE where I studied till 9th grade. Returned to Pakistan when I was 14 and continued my education. Did my Masters in English Lit. from Lahore and then went into teaching, which I'm still doing.
My inspiration for English writing was my 8th and 9th grade English teacher, when I was in Dubai. Being an Indian, she had an odd accent which I loved because she was one of my favourite teachers. She taught me so many things about writing which I still remember today.
Since then, I have been writing poetry and stories.(I also wrote a few Urdu poems after I came to Pakistan)
I live with my dad, my brother, my two sisters AND four cats(Mano-a Siamese, her daughter Ginger, her son Courage and Fluffy-who's a Persian) :)
