Submissions for Edit Red's first short screenplay competition with a $100 cash prize are now open.
This competition is open to all EditRed members. No entry or membership fee required, but you do need to be a member as submissions are part automated. FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES BELOW PLEASE!
SUBMISSION DEADLINE March 1st 2007.
To make a submission, the editors Chris Lee Ramsden, Sean Merrigan and Alan Emmins urge you to follow the guidelines below. Failure to comply with the guidelines will seriously jeopardize your screenplays chance of acceptance:
1. Upload your short screenplay (Any theme). You have to upload your submission into your Edit Red reading room. It does not matter if the upload is set to 'Reader' or 'Public'.
2. Send your URL. You should paste the URL of your short screenplay into an email and send it to this competition profile, see the 'E-mail this user' link just above this bio.
5. You can only submit 1 PREVIOUSLY UN-PRODUCED short screenplay.
6. The theme is totally open. Scripts must be for a short screenplay, between 20 - 50 pages and must be the property of the entrant.
Donā??t be bashful. Chris, Sean and Alan are chomping at the bit to get at your short screenplay. And donā??t forget, the more excellent the betterā?¦
